Principal's Message

Very inspiring is the quote of Albert Einstein: ‘Education is that which remains, if one has forgotten everything he learned in school’. In this context, I truly believe that education is a lifelong learning process. Learning happens all the time; not only in a pre-designated place called the school. It happens at home, between home and school too. The home and school’s mission, therefore, is to provide a learning environment and opportunities to the children as the learners, which will have a long lasting impact on their lives.

In this present scenario, shaping young, impressionable minds is one of life’s biggest challenges as an educator. At Holy Cross School, Balaigach, we aim to empower our students to grow as individuals with strong, open and discerning minds with an international perspective, preparing them to make a mark in this 21st century.

Our distinctive academic programs and innovative, modern, clinical and educational technology encourage students to develop critical-thinking and learn through enquiry and reason, to exchange thoughts and ideas, to develop personal and social values, to take ownership for his/her choices and to set goals to realize their own unique potential, thus to become responsible citizens and better human beings to make a better world to live in.

Besides the academic formation, we see that Holy Cross students become individuals with sound spiritual and moral values. The school develops and strengthens their intellectual, emotional, physical and artistic abilities. It enables them to think, reflect, assess and verbalize. They become self-reliant and independent to face life’s challenges. They are conscientised on social issues with a sense of their role in forming a just society. They respect different religions and cultures; love nature and strive for its preservation.

We continue to journey along with every future generation of Holy Cross students, igniting the spark of creativity and curiosity in them.
